It's hard to predict what people would bid without meeting them, however I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who wanted DFW got it.
We are only talking about 2 months of new hires. Take the amount of new hires vs spots open and it looks like a good chance for the most junior guy to get awarded DFW.

The thing you gotta factor in is the projected shrinkage in ORD. All 40 slots for DFW won't go to guys hired since the last bid. ORD as a base has a lot of commuters and with as much as it's projected to shrink, I see many (maybe 15 or so) of the current FO's deciding they'd rather commute to DFW to have a line, than stick it out in ORD on reserve.

You can start LGA feel it out and pull the trigger on DFW when your ready. LGA will be a quick line, the flying is good flying for an RJ to cities your friends will actually have heard of. Long legs through Miami too. The captains and culture in LGA is very laid back and friendly you'll know everyone after a few months. It's a good experience

Piedmont's flow is faster at 4-5 years and we are growing so quick upgrades literally if you have the time you can upgrade and a lot of movement. I'm in the top 1/3 after 1.5 years.

Lol. 4-5 year flow. I did the numbers and there is NO way a new hire will flow in 4-5 years. I bet this guy actually believes that. Your flow is a 9 year flow structure. Shave a bit off for lifers, attrition, and growth. Maybe you get below 7. Maybe. HA!!! 4-5 years wow.
