Anyone have any success getting their A3D travel set up through MobileCCI? I can get a seat on American flights using the "AA Travel From Training" but I get nothing but format errors when I try to use the "Envoy Travel From Training" command on Envoy flights.

I live in The Woodlands and just finished my second week off of IOE. I have the luxury of a family member living within 20 minutes of the company parking lot at DFW so I just drive up (3.5-4 hours from where I am) so I do things on my own schedule etc. Having a vehicle here is hugely helpful, obviously.

I'm going to continue to drive just for the safety of not getting bumped on flights out of IAH. I'm eager to fly as much as possible so missing work isn't an option. Once I hold a solid line I'll do the flying commute.

Any other specific questions? I do know there are quite a few flights every day out of IAH to DFW.

Howdy!! a little help here please , looking at options here. I heard you gonna be on reserve for a long time with Envoy (3-4 years), with that being said while on Reserve could you break the 75 guaranteed in a regular basis or how much actual flying can one expect?

Im in my early 40's and sitting around even getting paid is not an option, need as much flying as I can.

Thanks.

Usually the error is due to having a next status.

Try the interactive seniority list on the ALPA site.

You won't be on reserve that long. The movement has really picked up from the long reserve times of the past. LGA will be a couple months, if any. DFW maybe 6 months, and ORD is tough to say. These are all E145 estimates.

You won't be sitting around for 3-4 years on reserve anymore. Looks like junior CA upgrade is less than 4 years, closer to 3 years at this point. I've been here 3.5 years, been on reserve 1.5 cumulative, but that is changing quickly now.

The long reserve times are in the ORD EMJ 145 CA status as the base has been siphoned off to build LGA. The shrinkage should stabilize soon says management

Reserve on the 175/DFW is 2 months, not years. Can't speak to other aircraft and bases but at 40 years old the 175 is an option. The 175 reserve pool is 30 pilots and with 18 pilots a month coming on line, you do the math. As far as extra flying, absolutely an option. A reserve pilot I know is on schedule to pick up 25 hours extra paid flying because some is 200%.

I've seen classes where people in their late thirties got the 175 but in my class, at 41, it wasn't an option. Don't know how old the last guy to get it was. Just want to point out if you're forty, the 175 MIGHT be an option.
