March 2011 hires are flying the line as Captains. April 2011 will be hitting the line soon. In training are guys who upgraded in 4 years, soon to be 3. It may dip under 3 years with this latest bid.
The union email that stated the most junior DCE is February 2011 is incorrect.

Truth be told the VA isn't the only challenge of this program. Coast has been largely unprepared for the influx of students. Understaffed on instructors, maintenance unable to support the hours flown, ... Anyone should consider long and hard before joining the RTP program, certainly if paying for anything out of pocket. Consider what your local FBO could do for you and compare that with the personalized schedule that Coast has prepared for you. Seeing the schedule they have for you may be enough to convince you to do the majority of your training outside the program. Sitting around waiting is to painful enough. Doing it while not getting paid and losing seniority is a punch in the gut.

You don't have to 'know' what's on the green reference card, just have it in your hand when you need it and look. Weights are on the green reference card for both airplanes. Beyond that, the few differences are pretty easy to remember, though I doubt you'll be asked anything on the 140.

Tried posting this in another topic but haven't gotten any replies, can anyone comment on realistic 1st and 2nd year monthly take home pay. I know it obviously varies person to person, but perhaps a general range. Also, what are the chances of ORD out of training? Thanks
