If you have less then 100hrs of flight time in the last 12 months you will be required to do the sim. Its a Baron 58 with G1000 display. Takeoff, level off, descend and vectors to an ILS.

Does anyone know when they opened the NYC base, did they send guys that bid that base early? (Before the official base opening)
My question is essentially, once this Miami bid comes out, could some guys get sent before the September official opening? Or is that when they start sending guys ?

Lines won't be build for the MIA based guys until September or whenever the base opens. The MIA flying is being done by crews from all the other bases and will be until the base opens.
The current vacancy closes on July 15th at 1500 Central time.

You attend the ATP-CTP course at ATP Jet in Bedford, TX. It's a laid back no stress course. Four days of classroom with a test on the fourth day (easy and they spoon feed you the questions and answers). Day 5-7 are sim sessions in a CRJ Fresca and two Level D full motion Sims (737 and A320) - one on each day - again laid back and for familiarization only. You start Monday and finish on Sunday. You can schedule with ATP Jet when you sign in on the first day to take the ATP written exam (ATM) on Monday after the Sims. Good luck

(Side note, if you aren't using Shepperd Air yet, you are wrong.)
