So traveling non rev internationally recently.
I woke up early to checkin, as did everyone else.
I clicked it a couple times before the trip was elgibile for checkin, so i know i did it on time.
I was a D1, number 3 on the list when i looked at the priority list right after checkin.
Looked at my flight later in the day, and then i was number 6 on the list.
No D1T, or business standy, just more D1's that were suddenly ahead of me on the list?
How does this happen?
Is there some way for people to get bumped on the list on international flights or something?
Only thing I could think of was that people got bumped from the previous flight..... but there is one flight a day and the one the day before was wiiiiiiide open. So the only way someone should get bumped to the next flight is if they didn't show at the gate - in which case they should not keep their check in time.
Just curious about this, wondering if I'm missing something about the way the system works. But I kind of don't think so as I've been using this system regularly for many years now, but I don't use it for international travel all that often so maybe there's something different there?
