Damn, only 1 out of 34 slots ORD? That's depressing.

Probably not going to happen but they need to change the class seniority to social sec number instead of age like at some other places so it's more fair for everyone because it's random. Why do you have to be 40 and above or a certain age to get what you want? Because you have less useful time left in aviation? When your on the line you go by seniority not age.

Supposed to be 5 days prior. But for unknown reasons, it hasn't been posted 5 days prior last month or this month.

Anyone have info on:

1. What ball park numbers on (AA monthly retirements) will it take for AAG to be able to flow approx 60 pilots from ENY each month vs the current 25-30/month?

2. Since ENY gets 60 NH/month on property now consistently. How many FLOWS will we need each month consistently to get these 60 NH on path to starting class at AA in 6 yrs. Will 25-30 per month flowing work????

I obviously need clarity on how the numbers game work.

Probation Check ? Anyone have info on this, apparently it's something new and most of the captains of spoken to don't know about it. Apparently it's only one day, 3 hours. What should I expect? Do I still need to go in for the probation ride in the Sim sometime later?

You definitely need some clarity on this. You're completely mixed up. First off, flow numbers have nothing to do with retirements. It's based upon how many new hires are in class at AA each month. 2nd, Envoy will never send 60 pilots per month to AA. The way the contract reads is that for the Protected Pilot group, 50% of AA new hire classes will be made up of Envoy pilots. BUT...envoy can limit that number to 25 per month. So technically, if AA hired 120 pilots in a month, then theoretically Envoy could send 60 pilots (50%) that month. But Envoy will not send more pilots than they have to (25/month). After the PP group, you get the DOS group (those hired between 10/2011 and 12/2014) and the number drops down to 35% of new hire classes at AA but Envoy only has to send 15/month. For everyone hired after 12/2014, the number drops down to 25% of AA classes. Bottom line, don't expect more that 25 pilots to flow per month for the PP group, then no more than 15/month beyond that. The ALPA interactive seniority list that calculates flow time for everyone uses these flow numbers in figuring out the estimated flow time to AA.

I wouldn't worry about the numbers, it's not an exact thing. If you plan on the flow just figure out about 7 years. That's worst case based on the min flows. There's a lot of variables, how many will choose to stay at Envoy instead of going to AA, how many above you choose to go to other carriers. I have a feeling, barring another world war, as the hiring flood gates open there's going to be a lot of guys that will not wait for the flow.

envoy can really send 25/monthly or less or nothing. This flow agreement isn't guaranteed like the 824 group.
