I’m looking all over for what OCC and NCE. Any insight? I’m applying for DEC and would love to know what I’m getting myself into and why DEC OCC would suck lol

Because you would perpetually be at the bottom of the reserve list on a shrinking fleet (ORD CRJ).

Yes, I believe this is specifically stated in the section 11 Q&A in our contract

It's a good airplane, but the schedules aren't what they used to be, and reserve usage is wildly inconsistent. It would be fine if you lived within driving distance of the two hour call out. For a commuter, you'd be asking for a life of uncertain schedules at the bottom of the list until displaced.

Those that think OCC will suck, in the next 6 months all but the bottom 25 will have flowed.

In 6 months a line holder will be in the 1300s seniority.

FFDO’s on reserve.

Allowed or not? How hard is that because they need to know what flts you’re working and imagine being called on stby ready or raps

Why wouldn’t it be? It’s not that hard. If you’re and FFDO then you know how to use Dashboard and you know where the safe is.
