This sounds so appealing. By 2020 we will be flying E190-E2’s for C206 wages. I can’t wait. We all need to get involved with Union Volunteer opportunities and accumulate as much knowledge as possible so we can defend our workplace.

I may be wrong, but the way the contract reads, to me, the company had 120 days to implement PBS after the 41st 175. That came and went a long time ago. They want PBS they would need to offer a lot of perks to offset the downsides to PBS.

Lol... Talk about doom and gloom. You guys are like a woman on her period. So emotionally unstable, irrational, and unreasonable.

One size does not fit all when it comes to PBS. You may see only cons based on your experience, but others have seen and experienced the better side in a contract, not just word of mouth expectations.
To each their own thoughts. Unbiased education is key.

I personally believe unbiased education is a myth. There will always be a bias. Whats important is the pilot group retaining as much leverage as we can. Leverage = Bargaining power.

Right on. With the company nailing people to every written letter of the contract, bullying sick pilots, etc. it seems to me that it would not only be fair to retain as much leverage as possible, but to create it by doing things that harmlessly annoy the company -- such as bidding reserve to avoid upgrade. Obviously they were doing this to avoid the 145, but it worked out in a big way for NY based pilots when the company perceived it as trying to avoid NY.
