In respect to new bases, no body knows. Not even the managers know what to expect. When mia opened, the managers didn't know it was opening until the day before it was announced.

With an additional 25 175's coming online they will need to go somewhere. Not sure of the net gain in gates at DFW, with the re modeled E satellite terminal, and AA taking some B gates.
Chicago seems out of space.

LAX has been coming back since 2012 so there is always that.

That's not even remotely true. When NY and MIA reopened, not only did MGMT know well in advance, but the MEC and Negotiating Committee were privy to it in advance as well under NDA. As far as what can be expected in the coming future, MGMT has indicated to ALPA that no new bases are on the horizon. Instead, Envoy will focus on bolstering up current bases.

Regarding reserve rules, I’ve heard multiple times they are working on reserve rules with the company and the expectation is something positive. I will not speculate on what that is. I know what I would like to see but I don’t know what you’d like to see and a discussion of that here might be counter productive to the negotiations.
