So you saying having prior jet time? What about experience flying a B1900 single pilot and flying your approaches close to 250 kts till 5 mile final? How would that experience fair in 175 training?

Definitely pick the E175. You will be in advantage systems wise with Vnav, AT, etc when you get the Airbus or 737 at AA in 3-4yrs.

so the 145 doesn't have the green white needels bs.

It does.

Green for conventional navigation
Magenta for FMS

I agree with this comment, but primarily for upgrade. New hires should weigh their desired QOL, prior experience, study habits, etc when choosing an aircraft. It's too early to be worrying about mainline flying when your trying to build turbine hour #1.

And all this assumes that the E75 passes the QOL test. If from NY and LGA based you'd be crazy to bid the E75.

The transition from E175 to E145 is easier than from E145 to E175.

I get a kick out of it when I fly with old tarts that are new to the E175 after 15 yrs on the E145.

Is this based off your vast experience in the 145 so you're actually qualified to make such a statement?

The E145 is less automated.

What he said!

Pick the airplane that will give you the best seniority and or QOL. The rest is just window dressing.

He's lucky to find the right gate in the Terminal.....guy is a noob....one step above the private pilot who lets you know he's in the back if you need help during the flight.
