Looks like the company picked up block hours and might not down graded as many pilots from 20-8

Block hours, yes.

Less downgrades, no. Those will be in any base in seniority order.

Our MEC put out an email today clarifying the change in block hours and how the downgrades would be handled. If you are the most senior of the downgraded captains you will be awarded the CA position you would have held on bid 20-08, in seniority order. Email said 12 CAs.

So apparently 40-50 ERJ’s flying out of IAH is the plan.

For those who don’t get furloughed.

SO we will have 500 of the most expensive 50 seat pilots in the world! Sounds like a great business plan @#$%

It’s a train wreck happening in slow motion. Everyone is getting a letter. Maybe mainline is going to absorb all regional flying and have their pilots fly the 76 seaters. Covid is setting new historical benchmarks

I doubt Scott Kirby will pay mainline pilots to fly the 175s. Skywest, Republic and Mesa will keep that flying. Skywest won’t be giving up any 50 seat flying either. It will be XJT suffers as we shrink to the size of C5.
