20 by 2016; there is more than one way to spin numbers to appease your subordinates. I like BS, but this is getting old. Operation GTFO has begun!

I know that reserve is quite long at the moment, but how many flight hours could a new hire EWR FO realistically expect to log each month? Well under guarantee, or are they being used frequently? I'm just looking for a rough estimate based on your experiences. Thanks.

Did anyone really believe xjt was getting 170s? Did anyone really believe they were gonna upgrade 20 per month? Does anyone really believe there's a long term plan for xjt or 50 seat flying?

As of Sept 30, the highest credit EWR FO reserve schedule was 85hrs and lowest was 45 hours for Sept. You can definitely go a few days without getting a call in one week and in another you'll be used every day. But you can opt for "will-fly." This will put you first in the bucket or you can use aggressive pickup the day before to pickup open time for your reserve block.

oh H3ll no. This company is going to go under when no one wants to come work here and everyone leaves. My money is still on end of 2016....XJT will be 2/3 its size now, if not less....

yes, this is a slap in the face. Performance doesn't mean anything anymore.

"...Delta and United want to extend our aircraft that are currently on contract."

From the company. Take it for what it's worth.

Yeah, BS on that 20/mo upgrade as a way mgmt was trying to keep FO' here. If you go back and check the last 5 perm bids we've had since April we've had 42 upgrades in the last 6 months. That's an average of 7. Or, 1/3 of what our big Whigs told us it would be. Big reason why it's time for me to bolt to a Captain Qualified First Officer position.
