Yeah, BS on that 20/mo upgrade as a way mgmt was trying to keep FO' here. If you go back and check the last 5 perm bids we've had since April we've had 42 upgrades in the last 6 months. That's an average of 7. Or, 1/3 of what our big Whigs told us it would be. Big reason why it's time for me to bolt to a Captain Qualified First Officer position.

Have to agree, we were the top performing regional in August for ontime. Fourth best in the nation total. Something has to give. Some reward has to come from our good performance or people are going to get the heck out of Dodge
.
I'm confused...2 years ago, you chest thumpers said we were to big to fail and there is no way they could replace us...Now you guys seem to be saying we are being replaced... Which is it?
Yes and no. If you're CEO, performance can probably land you a better gig somewhere else after about 11 months or so. As a line pilot, I'd have to agree, performance numbers don't amount to a hill of beans. That will be evidenced in the soon-to-be released TA.

I'm guessing you voted No on TA. I respect the vote but if you did vote No and now leave to PSA or some other carrier with an inferior contract, you're part of the problem. You on contribute to the further downward pressure on the industry as whole. That, I can not respect.

What's so hard to understand. You are declaring you won't accept such a contract, that is does not satisfy your needs or wishes..............then you go off to another company and accept possibly an even WORSE contract there? That makes no sense. Either you will work for certain terms, or you won't.

I can't think of another industry that such a significant increase in pay would be looked at by anyone as a bad thing. It's a good thing when people leave. It's telling management 'hey if you don't give us a better TA we're not going to be able to recruit people. We NEED more money and opportunity'. From a negotiations standpoint I think it's a good thing.
