Some of the items from LOA-14 are going to go into effect on Dec 1st. Here is a summary:
- · Added 8 year longevity pay for 50 seat FOs
- · Open Time pickups during vacation
- · Having the bid package available by 1700 on the 10th each month has changed to having the bid package available according to a mutually agreed calendar.
- · The final schedule availability will also be moved from the 20th at 1700 to the mutually agreed calendar date and time.
- · Aggressive Open Time Pick-up for Reserves (APU)
- · LCR can only be converted to SCR 6 times and they can’t be converted on their “Friday” unless all SCR have been used for that start time already.
- · The company now has a limit in moving soft days off; only 3 per month and no more than 12 per year.
- · The company can’t skip a reserve pilot when giving an assignment if that would take the pilot over 75 hours. This number has been changed to 85.
- · RRR has been shortened from 6 to 5 per month.
- · Reserve pilots may trade GDOs.
- · The limit for a line pilot to drop, swap, or trade “Less than half of his schedule credit value…” has been removed. The limit is 45 hours now and it doesn’t matter how you got that line (PBS/assigned).

RUMOR ALERT!!!!!!!! Heard a lot of talk that Delta has offered to purchase us and the offer has been accepted. That's why Delta has been doing inventory at the G.O. and maintenance shops throughout our system. Get your resume's ready and polished up because we all know how this is going to turn out. I talked to one of the inventory guys and he said he was told to do a inventory but doesn't know why. However, he suspected and has known that Delta wanted to buy back ASA and stated that to be the only reasonable explanation for his Assignment. My guess an announcement is in the near future. Just thought I would pass this information along.

!
A Delta purchase will likely mean a merger with Endeavor-- not good.
