They are probably asking for $15 so they can get at least $10. They most likely will get what they want since they are not tied in by the RLA.

What percentage of the price of a Big Mac is the labor? 20%? I'll pay an extra 50 cents.

You only need to look at the airline industry to see that most people will go out of their way to save 50 cents.

Add 50 cents to price, the Big Mac becomes more expensive than the Whopper, people stop buying the Big Mac in favor of the Whopper, McDonalds lay off workers who then get hired at Burger King at year one pay and end up earning less than they did at McDonalds.

Sound familiar?

Except that Whoppers taste like crap and bk's fries suck. All of the major airlines' crappy services are indistinguishable.

Lay off the crack pipe, Big Macs suck and the Whopper is much better.

Then why do you always beg for a ride in it?

Because your fiancee picks me up in it when you're taking your mom with you on trips.

Good for them. Is it too much for someone to expect to earn a livable wage for working a full time job.

It's funny...a high school drop out working at mcd and bk sees more value in themselves than a college degreed, professionally trained airline pilot.

The pathetic thing is they have the clarity to realize its a career, most regional pilots are delusional it's just temporary until they get on at delta
