Exactly, meanwhile RAH (ERJ) and Endeavor (CR2) can't staff the Delta flying as originally planned and if I read things correctly EXJ (CRJ) side is not retiring airplanes as originally planned either for the above mentioned.

But yet again you were going to get shut down!

Most of us knew it was all BS talk about shutting down, reductions, etc. Let's just hope all other regionals will follow suit and stand up and say No. The PSA Turds fell for it and hope they enjoy their decade long POS contract while AA/US make record profits!

Whatever benefits them the most on any given day. Yes, they think we're stupid. Too bad certain union reps hoed them spread the fear.

So no real news for us lately huh?

I'm looking forward to the winter storm in ATL on Tuesday and Wednesday. Woohoo!

Trying to return from a 2 year LOA next Monday. However, because I'm ATL based, even though I'm a commuter, the company will not provide positive space travel or a hotel room for the 10-12 weeks I was told it would take. Had I been DFW or IAD based, the hotel would be provided.

I would understand if I was doing AQP but this is ridiculous.

So no pay for up to 3 months and they want me to get my own hotel. Right....

Still would be cheaper for them to provide my hotel than hire a new guy. SMH.

I've been through this in the past. It sucks yes but they are following the contract. The key is that the company was not responsible for your de-qual like they would be had you been on furlough. It's a hard pill to swallow but you really have no right to cry about it.

Is this true for a Medical LOA or just personal?

I understand they're following the contract but here is a company that is having trouble with staffing, can't fill classes and they are refusing to cover a hotel room for a returning pilot who does not live in ATL. Just doesn't make much sense, contract or no contract. Who in the hell can afford to do this besides some kid that lives at home and has no bills?

Yes or No. Did you vote Yes for that contract? If the answer is yes you have no room to *****, they are following the contract. Sucks, but they are holding up their end.
