Some advanced info on who these guys are would be helpful. Maybe there as a mix up with mine, but I'm curious to know if others got theirs. Either way, I think it's time to call the MEC on this one.
It was just an interim election. Main election forthcoming.

I got mine, went to the meeting today as well. I think his email yesterday was like his third thing to send out. The other two were on the TA discussion page I think. Think he did a video as well. There will be an electronic vote soon to pick an FO rep from two of the people that had the most ballots counted today.

Hi,

I sent an email to LEC 112 pilots back on 5/28 shortly after I found out that there would be an interim election / full election forthcoming.

Feel free to fire me a PM here if you want to discuss anything.

Trust me, one thing I want to improve is council specific communications to our Atlanta pilots. So, with that, I am sorry you feel you didn't have enough notice. I certainly tried to get the word out both by emails, crew lounge posters, and even dropping off hard copies of my message from yesterday into the lounge. That said, I received my nomination ballot by mail on or about 5/26, which served as the catalyst for me to express my intent to run. Two days later my first email was transmitted by ALPA National to LEC 112 pilots.

Take care.

I'll head down to McDonalds and pick you up a Waaburger and some French cries. Then you can have a Whinakein but you have to buy those yourself. Def Leopard sucks too.

I got three emails from JH. I got a ballot. I was mailed a LEC meeting notice. Had to fly though. Glad JH got elected. Hopefully he gets the full time job.

While you were dropping off copies of your message did you also take down your competition's posters? I noticed HH posters a few days ago only to see them torn down a day or two later.

I have a very good relationship with HH actually and appreciate his willingness to serve this pilot group, so no. I received a message late yesterday that both of our posters had been pulled from the lounges. Which is unfortunate as it is one of the very few ways for our pilots to be aware of what is going on. I'll know for sure when I duty-in later this morning though.

HH is a stand-up volunteer and has spent a great deal of time helping our pilots out as ACC Chairman. I look forward to the rest of the "election" period if you will, but I'll also be happy when it is over. It is not the same running against someone you have a good professional and personal relationship with.

I'm not quite comfortable putting my phone number here on the forum, but if anyone needs anything in the meantime - feel free to send me a PM here and I'll reply with my phone number.

Fair enough. I was just disappointed to see someone tamper with campaign information like that. It reminds me of childish student council elections in High School. Hopefully it was just one random unprofessional individual.

I agree. I just came in and the only posters that were still up are HH and mine located over the jepp revision boxes. I just pulled mine from there down though considering the content was date and time specific.

Traditionally, people running for union office have their posters laminated and tape them up with heavy packing tape. Just saying.
