LOL! You will get a great big ZERO for your efforts.

Burn the sick time and spend time with your family. Or, go to a job fair.

Wonder what the IAD closure means for the UAL pass benefits on the CRJ side. Hopefully we'll be eligible for the "Group 2" benefits.

My guess is they will vanish.

There was an email put out last week (Monday, I believe) stating that the new mediator's schedule didn't allow for negotiations to happen and that they will be rescheduled soon. Now for a rant...

Negotiations or not, we are so far apart on just about every item that it will be well into 2015 before anything is put in front of us again. The shrinking has begun and is unstoppable even if we are awarded E175 flying, we will still have a net loss of airframes regardless. Combine that with the fact that 27 ERJs are being parked soon, as well as 4 CRJs and the CRJ IAD base closing by 3/15, there's zero reason for either side to "give in" as the walls are literally crumbling around us. Max pay until the last day is more prevalent as time moves forward.

I used to be a believer in this company, but the apathy and paralysis from management, especially that of BH and most of A-Tech is stunning and in many ways disgraceful. There's going to be nothing but bad news for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.

I did see that we are running 2 additional planes out of the AA system as pro-rated flying. Small step in the right direction...

You guys crack me up. All of this hand wringing during contract negotiations.

We will not hear anything positive of substance out of management unless our "legacy partners" decide that we should. Management does not want to give us anything to hope for until they get what they want in the next contract. Our expectations are being managed to a low level with fear. Don't expect anything positive and wait for the next TA. Management will withhold any positive news as long as they can unless they think it will help them in negotiations. All communications from management is carefully crafted to achieve a certain result from us.

Management is managing - our expectations.

They aren't bluffing. They no longer want anything to do with ExpressJet, and realize it was a mistake. Problem is, they can't just pull the plug tomorrow.
