Back to baggage handling I feel that our handlers just don't have a lot of motivation on the tarmac. Seems to take forever to load a ERJ-145 when our passenger count is light. This is just my belief of our company it will range from pilot to pilot

Sorry, but just gonna call you out as NOT a Captain at Express Jet, I bolded the two most obvious reasons why.

...and not that pilots need to be able to write, but I have no where near the patience to tackle the post above on a grammar level.

Oh, this website? What's our company URL again, you know, the one we do everything on.

Guess I'm feeling aggravated.

But in reality I think I'm the only 8 year FO that is overall pretty happy with my company and situation. I must be detached.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I'm just saying we need to continue to prove we can handle what we've got during the pursuit of more flying and replacement aircraft .

The sooner you realize that you will absolutely never ever upgrade at this place, the better off you'll be. There is no hope. None.

BS said 100-150 upgrades next year. Not saying I believe it, but that's what the man said. BTW, I'd rather have hope, then be a miserable, hopeless, disgruntled pilot. In the meantime, do everything I can to GTFO of here and go on living life as a happy person.

The numbers don't work for that many upgrades when more FO's are leaving and we aren't hiring. When the seniority list shrinks, you can't upgrade that many.
