Heard a rumor from someone's cousin who has a friend in the union(sarcasm) that the union gave the company a "number" and the company came back at less than half... Anyone else heard anything related or similar?

That were agreed to by the parties and then added to the ruling by the Arbitrator.

2$ over the current 7/9 rates? And how do they compare to regional industry average?

Don't really care...things are playing out as I thought they would and it isn't good for us. It was a mistake buying a money losing XJT. Your PBS attack is reason enough to vote no at this point.

Never hated them Smoke Toilet....Don't love them now. I was simply posting this because yet another genx/y type got on one FB page and wondered why the MEC wasn't doing more to get pilots on the official FB page. I'm tired of guys not doing anything yet complaining that the MEC isn't doing anything. I think our MEC is working hard. They always have been. The problem is the deck is stacked against them because of FFD contracts, lack of scope, and apathetic membership like the one I was responding to. Why regional pilots think they can make big increases without effective scope is beyond me...but then you were one of those weren't you?

Yep...Includes my generation. Not impressed. Everything handed to them and they expect everything without getting involved in the process. Don't know who their reps are, don't know the difference between LEC and MEC, don't understand the RLA, or pattern bargaining....but they know they aren't happy and they are ****ed....Life didn't work out the way they expected, and now they aren't happy.

We were the first generation that had it easier than the previous generation, and we aren't handling it very well....
