It's more about how you don't have to worry about being unemployed for more that the time it takes to start class, worst case scenario.

If they come back with another pitiful $1.50 raise in Q2, I will gladly help burn it down. The burn it down crowd is still alive and well.

I agree. They’re all in SGU.

Last rumor I heard: United is going to buy us IF, and I stress on IF, we pass a new TA. So the tactic is simple: vote for a *********tty contract with hopes of being bought by UAL. I think XJT management is going to use this rumor to the extreme.

They can make the contract as bad as they want. Its only going to speed up attrition, not attract new-hires, and park United's 145s (that they own and that they need flying) faster if they even whiff at anything less than Endeavor rates and better work rules. The environment to demand concessions from pilots is long gone if they want this airline in business.

The management trolls recently did just that at republic. Their new TA passed by 51%. And just days before vote close you start seeing rumors of “merger” “acquisition” “as long as we vote yes.” Guess what, nothing happened. Union busting management trolls spreading lies to get their crap TA to pass. Business as usual. If we ever get to that point I hope XJT people don’t fall for it.

Our union touted “pattern bargaining” when concessions came around but not one mention of pattern bargaining when others now have much more. Time to close the doors.

Wow, can we let them at least start negotiations before we start thumping our chests?

Ahh, the rumor that won’t die. UAL buying us is just over the rainbow:
