Good point. The only people who are worse than pilots when it comes to talking outside their expertise are lawyers. We have some folks here who would make great lawyers.

Listening to your doctor is ridiculous. I take all my medical advice from the internet, then when I go to my doctor I impress him with how much more I know than he does about everything. I can tell he feels like an idiot for going to Med School at Johns Hopkins when all he needed to do was Google everything. What a chump.

Interesting read on natural immunity vs vaccine protection (not immunity) and how each changes over time. Draw your own conclusions
“ Wherry’s group found that memory B cells generated by the mRNA vaccines made by Moderna Inc. and Pfizer Inc. and its partner BioNTech SE appeared better at blocking virus variants including alpha, beta and delta, than those produced in response to a mild case of Covid-19.”
Above is what happens in breakthrough cases after full immunity has “worn off”

Flu season is in the winter when people were wearing masks and socially distancing. We didn't do much of that over the spring and summer because of vaccination rates lowering transmission. Then the Delta variant hit. So now masks and maybe social distancing are back until we can get ahold of this thing... Just in time for flu season. It's not a very complicated concept. If we socially distance this winter and wear masks there will be less flu.
Flattening the curve isn’t a very complicated concept either yet that mysteriously went away.

I believe a case is working it’s way up through the courts presently. So it’s yet to be determined.
