APC - Just another FaceBook for faceless.
I also contemplated bidding MEM with no problem holding it, but I will watch from the outside how the lines / environmental issues works out for others. Not being the Guinea Pig this time until the dust settles as I grab my popcorn. Aside from from that, the recent shootings don’t entice me either but that’s not really new.

There is nothing sketchy about fedex’s future. It’s always bucked the trend of over-production and shareholder needs. It’s a conservatively run company with a tremendous long-term record of profitability.
Also, I expect to be paid handsomely for the part I play in making this company profitable and successful.
Don’t let the shills in this forum get you down, FedEx is alive and healthy. The Wall Street sentiment will soon change and we’ll be darlings again, yet nothing has changed. Keep doing the things we do best, and watch the money roll in. Cheers fellas.

There’s a difference between saying something that’s unpopular and being the constant negative Nancy. You have proven time and time again to paint things in a negative light and never talk about the good. This is the best job in the industry by far flying airplanes. You’re the type of person that can never be pleased. You might as well quit and get the hell out now. You constantly throw shad on the people that actually volunteer (Union Volunteers) to make your and my life better and support the great work rules and pay you get. In return you run your big mouth on the Internet. They call that having no spine. I support all those that volunteer and our negotiating committee and know they will get us more great improvements in our contract. As for you, Im guessing you are some management plant sent to spread decent.

[QUOTE=PurpleToolBox;3299838]Because at UPS workers are highly unionized and compensated well. FedEx, not so. FedEx has gotten away with luring minorities with low paying work for too long.
I think twenty bucks and hour with benefits for even the part-time worker is not exactly low wage. Not great wage but probably on parity with UPS.

FDX had 412 “trunk” (jet) aircraft on 31 Aug 21 per the Q1’FY22 Stat Book, two of which are 744s not operated by FDX ALPA pilots.
As of early Sept 2021, UPS had 281 “Browntails”.
No denying FDX has more airplanes and more pilots than UPS…but that in and of itself doesn’t determine adequate or inadequate staffing.
I’d also submit staffing issues in a multinational logistics company go WAY beyond pilots…which was the context of both the earnings call and subsequent posts.
