"Trust the Process" was the answer.
But I do know I am not the only one with these issues with our elected reps.

OK, the bold items are MUST HAVES for us, and FIX the retirement.
The question is, will the NC listen? Will the company listen?
Don't send me a crap TA and try to tell me it was the "best you could do". I don't want to hear it. Raise the bar or keep negotiating.
The per diem alone is worth $15,000 of TAX FREE money to the international guys, maybe $10,000 to the domestic flyers.

I’m not necessarily saying I need to see all those things in a TA. We aren’t even asking for most of those things (they had different priorities). I’m just saying to no work that these items are not insignificant. Their AIP isn’t just pay rates when pilots look at them as an outsider.

you would rather a union of yes-men? yes-men get you contract 2015. our union leaders are weak. most shouldn’t be there, cozy as they are with the opposition. in my opinion.

The devil will be in the details, but this doesn't say that Delta's per diem will be the government rate, it says it will be "tied" to the government rate. I read this as they will negotiate a per diem rate like every other airline has (i.e. $3.25 per hour TAFB) but then will index to the government per diem rate. Government per diem rate goes up 5%, their negotiated per diem will go up 5%. Maybe I'm wrong, and you're reading it correctly. I guess we'll know when the actual language appears.
