Could you give some specifics on why you think the last part? Some data points?

4a2b/c discussion starts around the 5 minute mark. Later discussion about how going to 4a2c is cheaper than offering early retirement package or furloughing 200 pilots.
Projected Loss of 50% of Day time flying around the 16-17 minute mark.
Scaring the crap out of young folks to leave FedEx (70 so far) at the 19 minute mark.
Discussion of TA. No plan to seek getting more from money the company but instead focusing on funds shifting around for higher pay rates and retro and less focus on retirement and other potential work rule concessions (looking at the 777 fleet) to get there at around the 30 minute mark.
Discussion of goal of TA1 was to close loopholes that increased premium pay for pilots at 38minute mark. With discussion of concessions fallout after.
Discussion of potential no furlough clause around 48 minutes.
Discussion of not passing TA could jeopardizes options for 26 767s at 50minute mark.

Not true. I'm on the 777. Senior FO. I'd have to see the math, but shifting money from BKO to pay rates in general might be a net gain for me. On a 60 or 70 hour trip, how much of a pay rate increase would be required to be worth more than BKO.

That recorded meeting was likely just another psyop by management. They probably wanted it leaked. They are going to fight with everything they've got to make sure they aren't the ones paying for our pay increases. The question is, are we going to let them get away with it again?

Not surprising... someone reached out looking for the identity of the pilot who gave me the recording. They were surprised when they found out it came from a FedEx stock holder who isn't employed in the aviation industry. That person seemed to be under the impression it was part of an earnings call Q&A relating to the Purple Orange White initiative... can't really control who management gives copies of their meeting minutes to.

There are probably some smart people out there that can take some samples from the bidpacks and come up with a reasonable comparison of pay with BKO and pay without BKO but +$30-35/hr. I'm withholding judgment on the idea until I can see how that math shakes out. I'm certainly curious to know.
