You don't get to tell people to "grow a pair" when you're the one who's not willing to stand up to the company and fight. Clearly you don't have any either.

This is a recurring problem. Things change, someone doesn't get the memo, so when you do it the new way, you get a 20 minute lecture on how you are doing it wrong.
For the 767 it doesnt address it in the FM on when to specfically say it. If I recall correctly, it came out in a seperate document possibly under 767 Hot Topics or Fleet General under the content locker. I remember a couple changes happening such as before the FO/PM said Before Take off Check Complete, Runway xx Verified (when on centerline and verified heading matches). Then it changed to completing and saying Before Take Off Checklist Complete at anytime as long as you had takeoff clearance. Then FO/PM would say Runway xx Verified once on centerline rather than in conjunction with the before takeoff checklist complete verbiage. Of course I can find such document anymore.

The AIM reference that I think you provided earlier in this thread doesn't even say "must" and only says "should"
It's not a "requirement" as in, you can't be violated if you don't use it. But aligning your FOM with what's in AIM is a common practice. Pretty sure most airlines have it in their FOM. I know the 3 operators I've flown for did, even though in reality hardly anyone says it.

Except it wasn't just pointing out something. Learn to read.

The barrage of briefings is exhausting though.

I say "decimal" because I feel cool. Also it keeps me in the habit when I wind up flying places where English is a controller's second or fifth language.

That's fine, but just stop saying the AIM requires it. The AIM doesn't require anything. Period.
