So is the answer yes/no/I don't know, Stan? I didn't ask your opinions of the the dynamics of the Fedex pilot group, nor do I really care. However, in the interest of fair and open debate, you challenged my assertion, and I responded with question in order to establish a clear set of facts from which to discuss.

So, you've made the assertion that "new guys are picking up extra" whatever that means. Care to provide some context or clarity or evidence?

I didn't challenge your assertion, I posted my opinion. But FX guys have been undermining the negotiation efforts since day one. In Osaka at the Swisshotel two pilots thought they could ease their conscience by breaking hotel rules and leaving the hotel to buy gyoza from 101, gyoza place, because they had a 400 credit hr month. I flew with guys who thought working extra before the contract expired in the summer before the November expiration date was ok when the union was in negotiations. The seniority list has changed for a younger group but I see nothing of that group working less, and helping the collective group. This pilot group can't keep blaming the senior guys when its the majority, younger group, keeps working all the extra flying. And Ill add this, off 5,800 pilots or so, only about 20 whine on this site. Its a public forum with ahole opinions on boths sides.

RJ all over the ramp codeshare wide bodies flying across both oceans where I can by a delta branded ticket but fly on Air France KLM Korean Air. Delta has the least amount of wide bodies. Guess why.

Outdated. Again.

RJ usage has plummeted. Global scope deal in the latest contract has strong protections and remediations for noncompliance. Yes there’s some RJs and there’s codesharing. Now with global scope, any increase in codesharing will cause a required increase in DL widebody pilot jobs.

Wtf do you expect a “good” scope clause to have? Zero RJs and and Zero codeshares? wtf planet do you live on dude. The scope is good. It wasn’t always good. You live in the past and don’t keep up with changes. (BTW The global scope LOA was passed unanimously by the DL MEC and voted in by 90% in favor of the pilots. It is revolutionary).

Feel free to go on the DL forums and ask how much RJ usage has decreased relative to the past several decades. Your anecdotes of “seeing” a bunch of RJs on the ramp are meaningless.
