May Memphis 77 Line #1005 pays 87.87 * 335.56 = $29485.66
BKO 9.02 * 335.56 = $3026.75
After flying pays $29485.66 + $3026.75 = $32512.41
Actual pay $32512.41 divided by original credit = actual pay rate $370.00.
370.00 - 335.56 = 34.45 increase plus 10.00 override = benefit of +$44.45 per hour.
BKO versus a $30.00 international override. BKO wins on this line.

Heard a group of 777 FOs chatting in the AOC cafe a few nights ago. One was despondent because he was only crediting 128 hours. When I hear that sort of thing I wonder why the monetary value of BKO shouldn't be shifted off the 777 and into the rest of the contract.

So, you want to redistribute pay by taking from the long haul pilots so that you can get more for your MEM-TOR trip? Your post sounds like you think long haul is work, yet you want to take the extra pay from them to get more for yourself rather than bidding to do the work. Socialism???

I think you’ve got it wrong. The extra money people make from BKO is because they are earning it with the wear on their bodies after crossing 10 times zones. Especially with how FedEx has optimized the international flying. You wanna make the big bucks? Then put in the work. Seniority gets you the ability to bid those trips should you desire. It doesn’t give you the right get the same pay as the long haul guys if you are only flying IND-YYZ.
