I guess I filled the app out wrong then I guess. No but really probably just under qualified in some way. I'll stay at it. Hoping to go meet them at WAI.

The hiring has really just started ramping up. Eventually they'll run out of LCA's to call. Just be patient, the call just might come with 30-40 a month being hired for now

1000 at Delta, 1000 at UAL, 600 at SWA, 500 at SWA in 2015. Keep the faith, and update, update, update. Not trying to give false hope, but we haven't had this kind of hiring in two decades. Things are moving.
But if you are still a regional FO...volunteer! ASAP. Safety. Recruiting. Do something besides check in for your trips. Most guys I know from regionals at FedEx have down something besides fly the line. Some say it shouldn't matter, but life ain't fair, and it being an good employee or pilot isn't always enough. You need to step up where you can. |
Sounds all good but at this rate of hiring, I believe it is going to get to the "warm body" syndrome. ie: Company X needs a warm body in the seat yesterday.

I'm a captain now. Got an internal in at FedEx just trying to figure out what else I need to get the call. I know nobody has the answers but I appreciate all the help from all the guys/gals on here!

Any guidance for where to put volunteer experience on the FedEx app? I don't see any specific place, and it seems rather out of place in the Employment section due to the format.
