Thanks for the info! Not putting idiotic stuff on social media is pretty good life advice in general😂. Also, is having time at another smaller cargo company preferred or just sticking at a regional long enough to pick up extra responsibilities for a better resume?

This may he the wrong thread but I just started at a regional. I would like to get a headstart and start getting some ideas for how to give myself the best chance to get to FedEx eventually. Check pilot, sim instructor, hell even throwing boxes part time. I'm 22 so I have time. Just want to make it to Memphis.

I was reading an old FedEx thread from 2006 about getting hired and have a question. Someone commented that if you work as a package handler for a year and meet the minimum requirements (bachelors, 1500 turbine, etc), you are basically guaranteed an interview. Is this still the case?

Prior employment at FedEx does not guarantee an Interview.
It may help come interview time though.

Again, this is the mid 90s. Maybe the same concept applies today?
