Mustangs of that vintage are TURKEYS.

I'm more than a little bit concerned about what "stuff" will cost in 2025. I don't think it's likely we'll have another TA before then!*?

I want a lot of money for this one~

My computer is better but less expensive. My 80" flatscreen cost $1000 less than the 50" it replaced. Yes, some things are more expensive; I almost never buy T-bone steaks anymore. Just as many have either gone down drastically for the same level of quality, or they have improved considerably for the same price. Is your $200 iPhone 6 no better than the $200 iPhone 4 you had in 2011? Everyone keeps focusing on what they perceive as givebacks and ignoring all the gains, or dismissing them as beneath us.
While you are right many things are an improvement on what we had, that does not change the basic point for figuring out what your money will buy. If you want to purchase the best Mustang available it will cost you $32k (non convertible) not 24K. You can buy as "lower" quality model for less. It has less bells and whistles than the top of the line model. I agree in the future, things will be better and you will get more for your $$ in technology relative to the past. But if you still want cutting edge or you want the best or even a top version of an item, it will continue to cost more. And our pay and to a much greater extent our retirement income will not keep pace. Yep the Iphone 6 is much better and still only costs $200 plus a two year contract that cost more per month. Is your cable bill still $29? Yes you get more channels but it still costs more.

So far the "gains" I see are verbiage gains that should have been worked out a couple years ago. I don't see many WOW that's a nice item areas.

iPhone 6's are not $200. The 64GB model is $749 and the 128GB is $849. The real price is hidden in your plan but trust me you are paying for it if you have AT&T, Verizon, TMobile or Sprint. A 1998 Chevy Suburban fully loaded with 4WD was $28,000 according to Edmunds. A nice one now has a starting MSRP of $64,000.

You are correct sir.

Although I will say my lack of judgment was directly the fault of The Dog.

I hope you didn't really pay $749 for your phone! I actually paid $49 for mine because they gave me $150 for trading in my old phone. On top of that they gave me a $100 Sam's gift card for switching service from Verizon to AT&T.

Send me a link on that Edmunds quote. I'm apparently not that good at internet detective work. I did find a bare bones base model price of $29,249 on Cars.com That was with cloth seats, an AM/FM radio, and no air conditioning. A fully loaded one was quite a bit more...closer to $40k.

Yes we are that short, right now current policy sort of encourages you to retire in October (all other things being equal), the company will pay up to 110k if you give them a years notice and retire on 31 Dec under the new TA. But it also discourages sick use.

To be maximized, does it not also discourage the use of actual vacation the last two years? And doesn't it need a full DSA account? Meaning, from my experience, guys who fly when their wellness is questionable, to keep their DSA account topped off?

I don't know that section bores me, I wouldn't change the way I use vacation or sick leave anyways so it is kind of moot to me.

T/A Looking like "Co$t Neutral" plus a nickel.

Management must be ROTFLTAO while cashing their MBO checks for getting a T/A before Peak.
