or just find a local school and knock the private out cheaper than at ATP.

Yeah, going to ATP for private then LIFT for the rest it seems like this kid doesn't like money.

ATP sponsored so I'd take it with a bucket of salt.

TL;DR guy says yes there is drought, restructuring will happen, furloughs too maybe, but flip side many people are retiring early, many giving up aviation for other careers, many student pilots leaving as well, so if a commited young dude could ride this one oht then he could make it if he is able to catch the wave when it comes up.

Overall, an okay assessment of things. He's with ATP so obviously there might be some bias on his part.

Yup today was the interview let's see what happens. They asked me about leadership and stuff. How am I supposed to have leadership or other volunteer BS when I'm livin paychevk to paycheck hehehe.

How long might it take for LIFT to tell me if I've been selected or not.

Can they decide to never tell me whether it's a yes or a no?
