Default Planesense

Did I miss my chance? Planesense HR called me in July about an FO position and I respectfully declined. At the time I was a 1000 hour pilot flying the gear handle in a part 135 Lear. Now that I知 over 1200 hours, I reapplied to the company in the hopes of fast tracking to the left seat. I called HR and submitted an updated resume, but I知 hearing crickets!
Did I miss the boat? I have phone interviews with two similar companies next week. I知 ready to leave the Lear and move to a bigger, better company but I壇 hate to accept a new position and get called by Planesense the next day.
Any thoughts? How can I get my resume up to the top of the stack or did I shoot myself in the foot by turning them down?

1200 is still FO hours. They need 1500 for PIC.

Is it unheard of for someone to work at Planesense for a few years, fly the left seat for a while, then go to a Major? (SWA, or the like? or what about AAL?)

Curious about how the 121 world views SE turbine PIC time...

Yes. Decent amount of folks have gone to JetBlue, Southwest, and United in recent months to my knowledge.

I know of 4 former PlaneSense pilots that have been hired this year at SWA.

Were they all single engine turbine only guys though? Or did they have a large amount of multi time from another job?

Mix of both. JetBlue guy had multi time previously but only flew in the 12 at PS. The others that went to Southwest had multi time from PS and some previous I'd bet to say. Most FO'S go to the regionals as you'd probably guess. Ones that stick around and upgrade usually end up at either XO, FJ, NJ, DPJ, or Majors. Pending you have their min multi time. Most companies know that when they get a PS captain, they're getting a workhorse and happily hire them. Regardless of it being a single engine operation for the most part, PS is mostly respected in the community.

I assume most of those guys going to the majors from PS had been with the company for some time? 5-10 years?
