Is everyone on the 10/5 schedule or do you have to work on the old schedule first?

The new pay scale seems like an improvement. What are the current upgrade times for TX bases?

Is the new pay scale on the APC website? If so, it is well below average on the lower end types.

350: 58k
100: 64k

Monarch and Wheels Up are paying 80k for 350 captains.

It's an improvement over the previous $36k for SICs.

The new pay scale is a bump and while the $58k/yr seems low you may consider for those who start as copilots with 1200 hrs in 2-3 years would have the 2500 hours (in house mins) for captain, putting them at $66k or so. I'd say the large factor driving the pilots is movement as you could move seats and airframes within the company fairly quickly to get the pay up. As for the schedule SIC's must be on a 12-3 for their first year then it is 10-5 thereafter. All captains hired are now on a 10-5 starting. Home-basing in the Midwest and only commuting to an airplane on duty days if necessary seem to be some of the larger pros.
Texas (Dallas/ftw) has the most movement of any base therefore typically if you had the time you could upgrade quickly.

Is home basing new? Last I talked to these guys they want you to live in certain cities. So Midwest cities such as Sioux Falls, Omaha, etc were out of the question.

Home basing allowed.....assuming your home is in DFW, Kansas City, Witchita, Buffalo, Tulsa, or San Antonio

Home basing has always been the setup at Airshare but none of the up and coming fractionals offer it. Just throwing in about the only argument you could make of the money vs lifestyle discussion. The company doesn't have bases in Omaha, Sioux Falls, etc. Any time you'd be sitting at home in a non-base city you'd have to commute to the airplane, kind of defeats the purpose..

12-3 schedule? What a joke, who would go work and do that when there are so many decent places hiring. With a terrible schedule and pretty low pay, I would definitely be looking at other places. And you say, "well its the only the first year and then it goes to 10-5." Well 10-5 isnt even that good and captains making somewhere in the 60s? That's pretty below average also. I dont really see any positives. Trust me there is alot better out there.

If you have read past posts you will see that you are available 12 days. All PIC's are on 10/5. I average 6 days per rotation I gaurantee you I am home more then guys at Wheels UP. Once you make it to the 300 as a PIC the pay is ok. It's much better then it was. Plus from reading your post your not a guy I would want to be on the road with. Good luck.
