I got the call for a phone interview and will schedule that today. Does anyone have any idea if I will be able to get the phone interview and in-person interview done prior to 2 Feb? I start a new job then and would like to not interrupt it. Any info/gouge/advice will be greatly appreciated!

Does anybody know a "typical" roster on the 18 day fixed schedule?
Can they schedule you 9 on x off 9 on x off?
I read something about it but can´t find it anymore.

No trips longer than 8 days and they can only do those 3 times a year. Normally 4 to 7 day trips spread around the month. 3 days off minimum for any trip less than 7 days. 4 days off min for a 7 day trip and 5 min off for an 8 day trip. There is no typical it varies wildly with the needs of the company. Your schedule is published by the 15th of the month prior and can not be changed.

There are only 2 ways that I can think of that you'll be out 9 days in a row.
- You're out for 8 (they can do that once per quarter while on the 18 day schedule) and you don't get home due to an airline issue, or
- You're in initial aircraft training, which could keep you out over 21 days.

May I ask the guys interviewing to please take a mental note of the guys around them. Who makes it to the knockout rounds vs. who doesn't, and possible reasons as to why. We still haven't figured out the secret formula.
Bald head. Yes/no. If no excessive hair gel? Spandex suit vs. business suit? Dark blue tie vs. Fluorescent pink tie? Man made shoes & brief case vs. genuine leather?

I think one factor is size of the pilot. You can't be taller than about 6' to fly the Phenom, and they have lots of those coming on board. If you're tall and/or fat, I think you lose some points. I thought I interviewed well, but I am not skinny, and about 6'3". I think that hurt me, and I didn't get selected to go to the next round.
