Now they’re making people pay just to APPLY to an airline that makes sub regional wages... the thought process behind that is pure genius... make sure to delete old voicemails because there’s gonna be about 20 a day from scheduling for JA calls this summer...

You don’t have to pay to use airline apps for a single application.

Massive win. With Cease and Desist language, wow! This basically helps us resolve every issue we had with the company jamming us into unapproved hotels and it gives us the teeth to bite them in the ass if they don’t comply with the new terms.

I agree, this (appears to be) a total resolution for the hotels issue. It’s a good example of “tightening the language” that will be needed in the new CBA to ensure other sections aren’t exploited.

The company was aware that they were in violation and had no valid argument if it went to arbitration. The settlement will probably not cost them that much to remain in compliance, hence the acceptance of very good compliance language.

Great job to our union for negotiating this settlement!

I didn't seem to get the email regarding the hotels. What are the repercussions for ignoring/violating the contract for the past couple of years?
