Now boys and girls calm down my little temperamental children. Just look at the TA when and if it comes and you tell me how close it gets to the big 4. Go line by line through hourly rates, work rules, retirement and profit sharing to name a few. I hate to break it to you but it will be drastically lower. If you want to stick around to find out be my guest.

PS: Then look at if you get full retro. You can be ****ed at me or realize that im just using current information and historical NMB rulings to form a conclusion. If you choose to not see the elephant in the room thats on you. Vote with your feet like I did. I just cant fathem with all this hiring at companies that already have good contracts that one would wait. The train is leaving are you on or off?

I am more convinced than ever that Beans is a management lackey (either Spirit or Frontier) that is on this site for just a couple reasons:

1.) To divide the rank and file during contract negotiations
2.) To lower the expectations of the pilot group

Beans has been a member on this site since May 2017 and has 88 posts to date. Every single post is an obsession with Spirit, and/or to a lesser degree, Frontier. Beans claims to have 'voted with his feet' and moved on to a legacy carrier (although not a single post references his new shop or an issue with his supposed new job).

Every single post is pro management, including his 'PBS is a done deal at Spirit as much as he hates it and there is nothing that can be done to stop it' mantra. His latest NMB rant further illustrates his position. Beans has not made a single positive, pro pilot statement.

I am convinced he is a management employee (maybe Jimmy Nidas himself) that is here to destroy your moral, lower your expectations, and divide.

Keep it professional and see you at the picket on the 7th.

I will vote with my feet, as soon as we can strike. If the phone rings sooner then, even better.

I doubt it, but anything is possible. In any case, the ignore feature was designed for trolls like Beans.

THIS ^^^^^ and keep your applications updated at the Legacies.

Indigo only cares about money.

If they can't hire enough pilots to cover their flying and they have to cancel flying - they'll give us a decent contract.

If the NMB actually releases us and we strike - they'll give us a decent contract.

Pilots getting all bunched up over Beans, poor customer service, bad schedules or anything else that doesn't affect their bottom line, and we keep working under a contract that was ratified before the iPhone was invented.

I'm hoping that ALPA, that's US boys and girls, has the stones to push this through. I haven't seen any attempt by ALPA to set or manage our expectations, only communications telling us that the company said no and is dragging their feet. I'm afraid that, on some level, ALPA National buys into the idea that ULCC pilots aren't worth the same as they are at the Legacies.

As this drags on we fall further and further behind our peers' contracts, the percentage our rate has to increase gets to be ridiculously large and our work rules have to change so much that it's not going to happen in a single contract. I'm not saying we don't deserve it, but the NMB under the current administration... nevermind.

Beans - GFY

Beans is absolutely a troll.

However the NMB is absolutely siting this alaska arbitration crap with us a spirit as well as this poop about paying us less being required for the business model.

It’s maddening and mind blowing

I haven’t posted on here for a while - mostly just browse from time to time like so many others to catch up on things.

First, let me mention, Beans GFY.

Second, like so many have already mentioned, one thing and ONLY one thing will bring about a market rate contract. That is the owners need to lose money (or feel that the possibility of it is very high). That is it. Until the time comes when we can make that happen, everything else is of little importance.

I’m not really sure why any pilot would come on here and get all worked up about an obvious troll (my earlier statement was more of a joke). Of course, its an open forum but not every post/idea needs to be addressed. If you were single at a night club and some ugly looking troll walked up and started asking you personal questions and/or try to engage in a conversation with you, would you answer?

So, this is the last I will mention about beans or anyone like her. At times like this, it’s important to stay focused and professional. And for the next beans post or similar from anyone else, let’s just move on.

Post more often because you are spot on, sir!!!

A couple of thoughts addressing previous posts...I feel stronlgy that ALPA is not buying off on anything...completely disagree with this 👉“ALPA National buys into the idea that ULCC pilots aren't worth the same as they are at the Legacies.” 👈 NOT TRUE! They are fighting a hard fight on our behalf.

Unfortunately, pilots here aren’t going to see a damn penny more until bodies are leaving in droves. Legacy hiring is resuming to unprecedented levels when the new year arrives. So, good idea folks, make your statement by leaving. F9 has poisoned the water IMHO. You can’t sh!t on your employees for years and expect them to have any loyalty. The hard decision is stay the course and wait for the contract to eventually be complete (which may happen at some indeterminable time in the future) or leave and start building seniority at a new property where the human being is actually respected and compensated appropriately. Ok, so as I type that out I realize, maybe the decision isn’t that hard!

Realizing there’s a lot more to that decision than just willy-nilly walking out the door and starting over, think hard about a very short-term sacrifice to improve your career exponentially and Strongly consider casting your vote with a resignation.
