Frontier Negotiations Discussion

However, if the company can call a meeting, and we can't, that just shows how screwed we are.

This could be a sign the company is struggling to hire enough pilots to staff their fleet growth plans.
This seems plausible to me but I am not getting my hopes up.

Maybe .. But just playing devil's advocate - If one party went to the NMB and said they have a legitimate offer, the NMB would be obliged to bring both parties to the table.

The NMB is probably pretty worthless to you guys at this point; so hoping the NMB will push the company, is probably a pipe dream at best.
At Spirit the NMB was criticial to push the company to a specific point; about September 2017, after that they were there telling us we needed to take the deal.
We were the ones who ended up requesting to meet after being placed on ice; the company was savining something like $9mil a month without having a new contract and the NMB was like “suck it pilots”
I don’t know what the union ask is currently for you guy and/or what the company offer is, compared to the Spirit deal. But, the NMB told us over and over “you need to take this deal” and we had zero chance of release (lawsuit on us or not).
As long as the company can cover flying, they will continue to sit back and relax. The NMB will be zero help.
Might be a tough pill for some to accept. We had plenty here who thought the NMB would say “you guys deserve Delta rates,” but the NMB was more like “you guys need to accept these rates”.
Cold truth of it.
