I don't know where you see 2-2.5 years. Everyone on property can see the bid for PHL and the most junior capt would be 3.5 years. I don't know where you're getting your info but whoever told you that is an idiot. As for 40% that would still put us at the bottom so no, not a step in the right the direction. 40% might as well read 1% for the majority of pilots here.

Again, not rumour mongering. Had i said I KNOW THAT FRONTIER WILL BE PAID ON PAR WITH FEDEX, then yes. As for who told me this, it was someone on the inside at F9. Could be total BS like you guys said. I don't know. The thought process was no one wants to goto PHL, so would be a quick upgrade. Didn't mean to created heartache or trauma amongst you folks. Just looking for info.

Been here 3 years and 3 months and I can't hold any captain spots. Not the 2 1/2 years I was told when I got hired.

I was told 5 and it took 9. It always takes longer than advertised. Management basically takes the quickest recent upgrade (in the least desirable base) and says thats how long it takes. Always add at least 2 years and hope the music doesn't stop.

Generally time frames are given when negotiations start with the intent of moving the process forward expeditiously. I.E. keep both parties at the table moving forward. Right now were basically dead in the water with this NMB. Any NC isn't going to start negotiations saying we have no idea when were going to see a contract? They try and give a best guesstimate (usually overlly optimistic ill give you that) and go from there. Management on the other hand is using best case scenarios to recruit pilots with the intention of dragging out negotiations as long as possible. So its a little different but just as frustrating.

Junior CA award to somebody 3 years 4 months. So only a year off on what the OP “heard”.
Now about that pay increase...

Off by a year so I guess we will see pay increases in a little over a year.
