Good to know! I am in the pool for an April class, and they didn't mention anything about it. But things also change on a daily basis.

When you receive an actual class date, they will give you all the necessary info.

Most Junior CA 4/16 hire in last bid - PHL. So 2 years 10 months.

Just to clarify......

Junior CA/PHL...awarded this week....hired 04/2016....

Training mid March-May.......projected to be qualified on the line end of May, that’s when CA pay begins/end of OE/Fed ride.........

So 3 years 2 months is the latest and greatest on how long it is taking to hold CA at F9 for a new hire....as the likely junior base stands up.....what happens once that is fully staffed is another matter.....but odds are another base is announced this year..........maybe...........

So 2 years 10 months he was awarded. That’s the number people care about. What if he gets sick and pushes it back? FMLA? Mil leave? Changes the date he would be a “line qualified” Captain. So yah....2 years 10 months.

Everything else you said about the bases is correct.

Can someone give me a run down on the typical training schedule? Is there any time between classroom and sim or do they try to roll you right in?
