Delving even further into this hurricane nonsense, has it occurred to you MCO and MIA are 200 some miles apart?
The low level of intelligence here.... I mean it borders on the scary side that you fly airplanes.

Yeah, they’re not buying any part of AA or any major airline for that matter. ALGT doesn’t have that much cash. There’s a reason they’re flying clapped out old airplanes and Public bus fare ticket prices. It works and makes money, but they’re not near big enough to try and compete with the other carriers outside there niche market.

Well, you are currently about the same size as Frontier (just over 100 planes?) and, according to your quarterly results, you ended Q2 with just shy of 58 million cash on hand with 643 million in long term debt. By comparison, F9 had just under 625 million cash on hand with just under 105 million in long term debt and turned a small profit in Q2. There’s obviously much more that goes into the health of a company than just those metrics, but I’m just addressing the comparisons you mentioned. I’m not saying that Allegiant isn’t in a better position than a lot of other airlines, but you really need to step away from the koolaid. I think you may have OD’d and it might be time to induce vomiting and contact a poison control center immediately.

Stepped on a pop top
Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home
But there's booze in the blender
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know, it's my own damn fault

Don't forget the lost verse, written for those pilots in white New Balance, with phone holsters on Caribbean layovers:
Old men in tank tops, cruising the gift shops.
Checking out the chiquitas down by the shore.
They dream about weight loss, wish they could be their own boss.
Those three day vacations become such a bore.

Yes. All airlines in the United States, whether public or privately held, are required to report quarterly financials to the DOT. It’s federal law. Lying about or misrepresenting those numbers would be a violation of said federal law. I guess I mistakenly assumed that an apparent airline finance expert such as yourself would have known that.
