Hope you all get to join the zoo crew soon.

Jepp FD pro - yes - includes own ship displayed on all charts, enhanced taxi charts with own ship, route auto loaded by the digital release, ADS B weather and traffic

PDC - yes (doesn't everyone?)

Digital releases - yes but its new, very well done though, links to FD pro

USB hubs to charge all your devices

Wifi hot spots on the ground

ADS B in the air

ACARS also auto uplinks route of flight and performance data to the box

All this leaves almost nothing for you to do on a turn but go get coffee and maybe some food if you want it. I'm constantly amazed at how much easier the job is compared to the regionals.

System bid 2020-09 is out. Effective date of April 1 for base transfers/assignments and, by the looks of it, everyone will be back on property. Maybe the rumors of new hire classes have some legs.

Yeah, I’m going to need some clarification on the bid because it’s not emphatically clear that the FO positions are getting added back but the what-if function and seniority list on flica begs to differ.

Hopefully it’s true that everyones coming back on April 1st!

Yea, it’s clear as mud, but that’s the word coming down the pipe. Also, the first page of this bid has a bullet point in it telling that all pilots on ELS/COLA-0 need to be sure to enter their bid preferences. Doubt there would be need for that I’d they were staying on the street.

Sent a dart to the union and they confirmed that the new bid does indeed include the affected pilots returning to work which is great news!

Now, do they become active in April or sooner? The bid packet states "base transfers" as of April 1st.

LOA 23 expires March 31, 2021 so it'll be April 1st for everyone back on property.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but will capacity really come back so quick with the vaccine etc...?

Not to throw a wet blanket on everything, but isn't the union in negotiations for something?
