Do you believe the rates above $320 or even to say $300 will happen? I believe the top pay is with UAL at $283. If this happens this would even give the WB guys a run for their money
You couldn’t pay me 300k to fly corporate. If money is what your after you’ll make more in the long run with an airline. Plus I bet that gig doesn't contribute 15% to retirement either like most airlines do. I’ve flown corporate/charter, 91/135. Your call most of the time within a 2 hour callout and QOL is just not worth it compared to knowing your schedule in advance and being able to plan your life around work. If you plan on staying here, there are talks of year 12 pay rates for CA’s pushing $320 hopefully within a year before the NK merger. Once we come out with an industry leading contract like that, others will also follow and pay for everyone in the airline world will get better. Now of course, one can also argue that the extra pay will do little with this clown in the White House and inflation the worst it’s been ever.

Very much a possibility, yes. That $320 number came from several senior pilot recruiter’s that have been here for 20 years. Delta pays their A350 captains, $354. With the NK merger, they’ve got to get a contract done soon and I do believe it will be a high number.

To answer your question. If 121 is what you want, I’d suggest taking the first 121 you get offered and keep updating your apps if you ultimately want to go somewhere else.

We must get in the frame of mind that it needs to happen. Take our top pay and add 10%. That new rate has the same purchasing power of our current top rate two years ago, and inflation is going to get worse still. Don’t cede inflationary dollars to management.

Why did you apply? Why did you interview? If you don't want to be at F9, don't go.
