Fair enough.

The problem, speaking in general terms and not directly to you, some of us are just getting tired of hearsay. Especially after we can easily correct if with simple to find facts. The rumor sticks and the lie spreads easier. I guess it’s the same problem FB has with misinformation.

“I hear attrition is through the roof!”
“I hear they are making pilots buy water!”
“I hear they are firing people for calling in sick!”
“I hear you can’t even afford gates!”
“I hear pay rate is garbage!”
“I saw they are only hiring only foreign pilots or CFIs!”

I’m sure there’s more.

What the total time spent in training including indoc/sims? Is it 2 or 3 months? Do you have breaks in between? Can you go home after systems to wait for sims or straight into it?

It's roughly 80 days.

You Will be able to go home just not likely to get a long break but it's possible.

You will also be required to do observation flights and most people try to use flights home to do those

Expect to be in Denver for about three weeks for indoc/systems. After that I had 5 days off. Then started FTDs. FTDs were 3 days on, 6 off, 3 on; totaling 6 FTD sessions. 5 days off after FTD and then started sim. 5 sim sessions, 5 days off, followed by 5 more sim sessions.

Plenty of time to get home after the initial 3 weeks.

Smart people use those for an almost “guaranteed” seat seat back to training.

Can the observation flights be done before you finish training at anytime after indoc/systems? So you can check that box off?

Yes. I think you can pretty much do them at any time

Anytime but doesn't really make sense until you start to get into flows / procedures after systems.

Current class started 4/27. Off on weekends. Indoc 5 days, Systems 5 days then General items. Finish ground May 17th. FTD (Fixed Training Devices) start various times the next 5 days after that based on bidding for the schedule. Each schedule has time off (3-6days) in middle of FTD's and again in Sims. All the sim lines ending by the end of June with many less than 60 days from start. Pretty efficient with good breaks to reset. They encourage going home on weekends and not sticking around.

plus add a couple of days for a disciplinary hearings. Running about 50/month per union.
