Word is they want to use the new planes to fill in routes.

Good point. The 11 or so retirements this year are mostly August or later.

Yes, definitely uncertain. I've heard they want lots of smaller bases rather than growing current ones. Nobody really knows for sure though.

I’ve heard this too. While we still plan to expand to new markets and routes, it will not be explosive like it has been the last few years. The focus will now be on frequency and serving majority of our routes at least once a day.

We have more stations than southwest.

We need an increase frequency way more than needing to open a single new route.

We serve a very large number of routes 3 or 4 times a week, while most other airlines serve each route 3 times a day.

I want to see us go back to serving routes like SEA - DEN 3x a day

I tend to agree, instead of 3 flights a week, it would be nice to do, one or two a day consistently to current routes.

But I’m currently just lounging in the pool and trying to plot my attack when asked (or told) which base I want (or get)...for qol/upgrade prospects down the line

Perhaps if you attend the next meet the chiefs in LAS you could talk to some recruiters and make your case. They're very approachable and open.
Good luck.. PL
Reading this thread I went looking for when and where the LAS meet the chiefs is and couldn’t find any info on Facebook or LinkedIn, can you confirm there is a meet the chiefs coming up in LAS and when it is? Thanks
