I wonder how many people who are leaving are on property less than 3 years.... Seems like everyone I know is coming here only to move on with a free a320 type rating.

Somebody from the union kindly came on here a couple of months ago and updated some of the numbers. Mentioned 2.4 years as the average longevity for someone leaving. Through some math I was able to see that meant about 20% of our new hires since we began hiring had left and the rest were pre Covid hires. That math is starting to get fairly out of date though at even less than 6 months old data.

Edit: That phrasing was weird so to clear it up…at the time there were about 180 pre Covid hires that had left and about 140 “new hires” that had left out of the 700 hires since hiring began.

I know I would take a free A320 type rating while waiting for a class at UA or DL, why not. I read somewhere that DL's CJO to class date is several months, and approximately two-three months at UA.

So why is it concerning? What does it mean? I really am asking out of pure ignorance.

I’m not in a position to look right now but didn’t they all buy those amounts on Feb. 8?

I don’t know, but it throws some alarm bells when the insiders are selling relatively large blocks of stock when the price is pretty low. It definitely drove the price down today.

curious how much that equates to of their personal portfolios.

I know BB is getting like 2m+ a year or something in stocks? so 400k isnt that much if he does it once and has 3+ years of accumulation. Maybe its for a nice house in Texas.

Is it not possible that these executives are on stock based compensation plans, got a large chunk in February (the official end of Q4) and are now selling after the allotted waiting period to pay bills with?
