B and E are unable to be bid on in NavBlue for technical reasons, so the only recourse the company has is to move some As and Cs to B.

it’s been 4 years now, they need to stop with the technical issue Bull 💩 excuse. If nav blu is unable to write the necessary rules within their program to allow for FDO, Or the ability to properly bid short call then the company needs to find a new provider. To bad alpa doesn't have a pair, perhaps if they did, this would have been fixed by now. This though, is what you get when a certain someone on the negotiating committee says he “doesn’t want to waste negotiating Capitol on reserve rules”

Switching from a to b is not a loophole. Every contract out there has the ability to move res around. Go check out jb and dl abilities. You’ll feel better about our agreement. There’s room to improve res. That isn’t one of them.

I couldn’t care less about what program I use to bid an fdo line. I agree with your other statement. Assuming you’re talking about the fact I can’t bid days off and res position simultaneously.

I promise you would have much bigger complaints about another PBS provider.

totally missing the point. Navblue has had years to fix the issues we have with bidding reserve. Obviously they don’t care because no one (alpa) doesn’t care. Not only was pbs a concession, we also lost the ability to actually bid within the reserve system on navblue. Alpa does nothing but make excuses for the company and for navblue.

I talked to a rep who told me that reserve rules don't matter because youre done so fast and why would anyone want to sit reserve?

Meanwhile I have been on reserve at home and have only touched the plane 3 times in the last month. It has been great. What would be better? more days off, longer call outs, auto releasing on last day after X time. Better rules..... Im sure those DEN guys are loving how he says reserve doesn't matter while they enjoy 2-4 years of reserve 18 years into their career.

When you say. We lost the ability to actually bid within the res system on nav blue you’re implying we had that ability. When exactly was that? I understood your fdo point, just disagreed with it. It is a contract violation I’ll give you that. Trade it for something in sec 6.
