Oh yeah, the girl who posted her side of the story when the news article and Frontier said she came onto the aircraft with a open alcohol container and drank it....

She was then rebooked on a later flight.

But yeah, she cried wolf i guess, its all over her social media with all sorts of companies.

go listen to Jimmy on the conference today. He directly says RASM increase is from supply and demand right sizing by spirit along with revenue management changes.

Yall can have your hunches and opinions, but I’m pointing out actual facts being repeated by the CEO.

This is not rocket science.

Frontier might be improving but none of you have shown a single operational metric that would cause a 10% RASM increase.

last time I checked we have a 5% cancelation rate so far this year with only a 67% on time arrival.

- Fuel guidance updated from the Iran issue.
- "Revenue improved because of pricing strategy which has been improved. Half improvement in revenue is due to actions WE have taken ourselves. Other half is overall supply demand."

So not quite all due to Spirit or supply/demand.... but half. yes.

Begs the question - how in the world can anyone know its Spirit customers (or quantify the amount of)? Was there a poll? Q/A prior to ticket purchase?

Spirit has been in trouble for a while but the pricing changes are recent. We stopped selling tickets past April then offered again and RASM is trending up. Coincidence?

Seems like we have another 100 orders from Aercap given to us through the mid 2030s?

No sale leasebacks?

Also, LEAP engines??

interesting

there is some confusion on the sale lease backs in the future. frontier said at the Barclays conference they probably weren’t doing S&L backs any more. Which there were assumptions they would be doing purchases. However this new order with aercap 100. Doesn’t show in our filings which means frontier/indigo didn’t do the deal with Airbus for the sale lease back deal they’ve done in the past at least not as the current filings show.

Aercap does leases. These are leases with future scheduled dates. Not necessarily sales with leases backs like they were previously.

We don’t know what percentage of these 100 are for frontier. Just just mentioned frontier because they have an agreement of some sort but we don’t have the figures ironed out. Or it’s part of the deferal we currently have in place for that 2030+ delivery schedule requiring changes on aercaps orders.

Maybe I read it wrong, but it mentioned 77 321s and 23 320 neos for us?

I know JD currently isnt a fan of sale leasebacks... Some people asking questions actually were dogging Barry about his trust and use of sale leasebacks and JD jumped in saying they were not a good decision to have done. Stating an airline needs to be profitable by itself, without the help of SLBs.

I would say that’s a bit of a stretch. Jimmy mentioned “continuing SLBs 2028-2030 but may have a better blend of on balance/off balance sheet financing.”

The rest I agree with. No idea if this is 10 planes or 100.

You mean the girl that has no problem listening to what others were saying to her in the video? You mean the deaf girl who brought her own alcohol aboard and when she refused to give it up and chugged it, was kicked off for non-compliance? That girl? the same one who was gonna sue her doctor even after she was warned she could lose all of her natural hearing with Cochlear Implants because she "deserved a payout"? That chick?

“There was no indication on the passenger’s reservation that she is deaf or has any form of disability and, according to various personnel who interacted with the passenger, she was clearly and effectively conversing with them during interactions.”In one of her videos posted in December with the caption “How I found out I’m going deaf in my 20s,” she tells the story of how she was told during a routine ear cleaning that she was losing her hearing.

She claims she almost got early cochlear implant surgery until she realized at the last minute that she would have lost her natural hearing from the procedure.
“Honestly, maybe I should have let them go through with the surgery because they were not going to explain that to me, and I would have woken up just like, deaf, and maybe I could have sued for medical malpractice,” she said.

“I’m eventually gonna go deaf anyway, may as well have gotten a payout or something.”
