We surely wouldn't be cutting any corners and putting pressure on our new CA's that were flight instructing 2-3 years ago. Wrap it up however you want but this is just a new form of pilot pushing.

Bump up the fuel and get an ARTR I’ve already done it twice this week. We’re also being planned with less fuel at landing more recently.

Pilots are reminded that avoiding the use of the APU is one way to "do your part" in running the Greenest airline, and reducing fuel costs at the same time

For sure. I’m sure tankering and fuel costs have been pushed hard on the dispatchers as another means to save coin.

We then also remind ourselves that the "greenest airline" burns more fuel waiting on gates, jet bridge drivers, rampers, etc.

blasphemy (sp?) ! Also, nobody here as timed out of duty day before they even pushed back, due to rampers, jet bridge, "non-pilot" issues.

yeah, smh. Bundle up all these quotes and it’ll be the exact same thing 40 years from now regardless of the airline. Enjoy the extra pay while waiting, go home and enjoy life.

So with Brad saying we have higher load factors for the holidays, are they saying Q4 will still be a loss?
