That's not a plan - that's a hope.
A plan would be something like "We're going to tweak the network to more underserved markets for a period of time and see what that produces and what changes we see coming from the competition."
Or, "given our market prognosis for the next 6 to 9 months, we're looking into obtaining the aforementioned first class seating a little earlier (towards the summer) to capitalize on softening luxury demand by enticing traditional first/business class domestic travelers to give us a try."
Or, "we're adding wifi because it's SORELY needed and has been for a while"
Or maybe 50 other actual moves. Doing the same ULCC thing and expecting a different result may be lucrative (or it may not). But the one thing that we all know is that if you're not innovating, you're retrograding.

He was actually very clear…
We are going to thrive, because we have the lowest cost. He seems to be thrilled about the financial system collapse (which in itself is oddly weird). There is going to be a bloodbath amongst the big four. We are going to wish them luck.
That’s our long term plan.

it’s not that the union isn’t getting along. There are two loud mouth (ex) union people who are starting yet another ridiculous complaining session on FB. These two are some of several who don’t want to give up the old fapa den centric way of doing things. There have been many new people voted in that are bringing a new stronger mec. Not the good ole boy club of the fapa days. There have been some good changes. Not enough to be honest only because people like these two are obstructing

I voted no in 19 because i didn't think this contract was good enough. I've been proven correct. JL should not have been given another chance to negotiate for us. I do not condone the actions by the LEC reps who sent the email yesterday and i certainly dont condone the actions by MM. His video was a MM puff piece. He says "I" like he's a 5 star general running the union himself. The union is a "we" program. MM has shown he has no real leadership skills by letting the union operate in such a dysfunctional clown show. He needs to go as well.

- The dissenting reps are boycotting MEC meetings to prevent quorum, effectively halting further votes.
- They claim the coalition is removing elected committee members and changing rules without proper process or justification.
- It could potentially delay progress on critical contract negotiations or diminish the union’s ability to advocate effectively.
FYI. Haven’t read the email this morning
